DAT5024 Trip Amplifier.
Datexel, specializing in signal conditioning and temperature transmitters would like to present the DAT5024, a trip amplifier. The DAT5024 can be purchased to accept thermocouples including J,K,S,R,B,E,T and N. RTD’s including Pt100, Pt1000, Ni100 and Ni1000. It can also accept mA, Voltage, Resistance and Potentiometers.
The mA input has an auxiliary power supply of 18 V to power up a mA loop.
The DAT5024 provides 2000 V isolation between input and power supply, 2000V between Input and relay output contacts and 1500 VA and between the power supply and the relay contacts, ideal to stop ground loop problems in heavy environmental conditions found in industrial applications.
The power supply has a high range from 18 to 32 Vdc There is a reverse voltage protection up to 60 Vdc.
The DAT5024 trip amplifier has two relay outputs both rated at 250v 2 amp. Each relay can be selected to be a high or a low level alarm. On the high alarm the reset will be lower than the set and on the low alarm the reset will be higher than the set. The hysteresis is settable from 0.5 to 10% and the delay can be up to 25 Sec.
The DAT5024 is in compliance with the standard 89/336/CEE on the Electromagnetic Compatibility, meaning it carries the CE Mark. It is housed in a self-extinguishing plastic enclosure of ¾ inch 20.5 mm thickness suitable for DIN rail mounting in compliance with EN-50022 and EN-50035 standards.
