DAT4540 Programmable Frequency Converter.
Datexel, specializing in signal conditioning and temperature transmitters would like to present the DAT4540 Isolated Frequency to Current or Voltage convertor module which is programmable by PC or by dip switch. The DAT4540 can be programmed to accept Namur, TTL, PNP, Tachometer, Voltage frequency input.
The DAT4540 provides an analog output. The analog output is selectable to be either Voltage or Current. The output span is also programmable. The voltage output is 0-10V with a minimum span of 1 V and the current output is 4-20mA.
The DAT4540 provides 1500 V 3 way isolation between the input, output and the power supply is ideal to stop ground loop problems in heavy environmental conditions found in industrial applications.
The power supply has a high range from 18 to 30 Vdc and at 30 Vdc is able to drive a load of 500 Ohms per channel. There is a reverse voltage protection up to 60 Vdc. The input can be linearized.
The DAT4540is programmable by PC using a USB port and the Prosoft software developed by Datexel. It can also be set up with the aid of dip switches.
The DAT4540 is in compliance with the standard 89/336/CEE on the Electromagnetic Compatibility, meaning it carries the CE Mark. It is housed in a self-extinguishing plastic enclosure of ½ inch 12.5 mm thickness suitable for DIN rail mounting in compliance with EN-50022 and EN-50035 standards.
There is also an option to provide relay outputs. The contacts are rated up to 250Vac 2 Amps.
