DAT4520 Programmable Isolated Four Wire Universal Input Transmitter with Trip Amplifier.
Datexel, specializing in signal conditioning and temperature transmitters would like to present the DAT4520, a four wire isolated universal transmitter with trip amplifier which is PC programmable.
The DAT4520 can be programmed to accept thermocouples including J,K,S,R,B,E,T and N. RTD’s including Pt100, Pt1000, Ni100 and Ni1000. It can also be programmed to accept Voltage, Resistance and Potentiometers. The DAT4520 provides 2000 V isolation between input, output and 1500 VA on the power supply and is ideal to stop ground loop problems in heavy environmental conditions found in industrial applications.
The power supply has a high range from 20 to 30 Vdc and at 30 Vdc is able to drive a load of 650 Ohms. There is a reverse voltage protection up to 60 Vdc. The input and output can be separately linearized to allow the use of all sensors available today. The output is a 4-20mA or 0-10V.
The DAT4520 is also a trip amplifier and has two relay outputs, one rated at 250V 2 amp and the other 30 Vdc 2 amps.
The DAT4520 is programmable by PC using a USB port and the Prosoft software developed by Datexel. With the use of the Prosoft software it is possible to set the transmitter up in fahrenheit or centigrade.
The DAT4520 is in compliance with the standard 89/336/CEE on the Electromagnetic Compatibility, meaning it carries the CE Mark. It is housed in a self-extinguishing plastic enclosure of ½ inch 12.5 mm thickness suitable for DIN rail mounting in compliance with EN-50022 and EN-50035 standards.
