DAT4235 Programmable Isolated Four Wire Universal Input Transmitter.
Datexel, specializing in signal conditioning and temperature transmitters would like to present the DAT4235, a four wire isolated universal transmitter which is PC programmable.
The DAT4235 can be programmed to accept thermocouples including J,K,S,R,B,E,T and N. RTD’s including Pt100, Pt1000, Ni100 and Ni1000. It can also be programmed to accept Current, Voltage, Resistance and Potentiometers. The DAT4235 provides 2000 V isolation between input, output and power supply and is ideal to stop ground loop problems in heavy environmental conditions found in industrial applications.
The power supply has a high range from 18 to 32 Vdc and at 30 Vdc is able to drive a load of 1000 Ohms. There is a reverse voltage protection up to 60 Vdc. The input and output can be separately linearized to allow the use of all sensors available today. The output is a 4-20mA or 0-10V.
The DAT4235 is programmable by PC using a USB port and the Prosoft software developed by Datexel. With the use of the Prosoft software it is possible to set the transmitter up in fahrenheit or centigrade.
The DAT4235 is in compliance with the standard 89/336/CEE on the Electromagnetic Compatibility, meaning it carries the CE Mark. It is housed in a self-extinguishing plastic enclosure of ½ inch 12.5 mm thickness suitable for DIN rail mounting in compliance with EN-50022 and EN-50035 standards.
