“DAT6000 SERIES”A/D INTERFACE
MODULES FOR PLC.
The DAT6000 series of devices is an evolution in the connection techniques of analog signals to PLC's.
Each device can amplify, linearise, filter and isolate the analog signal coming from the sensors in the field and convert it to a high resolution 16 bits digital signal that is transferred to the PLC by the data line of the controller.
The data transfer is controlled by the PLC through a clock signal generated on its digital port. At each pulse of the clock a bit of Data is transferred.
By few and simple instructions the PLC is able to acquire more analog signals on a single digital input.
Moreover each module has an Enable signal, that allows the controller to multiplex more devices to one data line and one clock signal.
The series is composed of:
DAT6011 - Interface with 2 input channels for mV and Thermocouples.
DAT6012 - Interface with 2 input channels for RTD and Resistance.
DAT6013 - Interface with 2 input channels for V and mA.
DAT6021 - Interface with 4 input channels for mV and Thermocouples.
DAT6023I - Interface with 4 input channels for+/- 20 mA current signals.
DAT6023V - Interface with 4 input channels for+/- 10 V voltage signals.
