What is a REMOTE I / O MODULE ?
Remote I/O modules are defined as a device dedicated to the communication of measured data to a remote terminal unit using the MODBUS RTU/ASCII protocol on a multi-point network.
The devices are suitable for DIN rail mounting in compliance with the standard EN-50022; all the devices are galvanic isolated .
The series includes:
● modules with analog input to measure one or more signals coming from temperature sensors or normalized signals;
● modules with analog output either voltage or current;
● modules with relay or PNP and NPN transistor digital inputs and outputs;
● repeaters of serial lines to allow data transmissions with high immunity from the interferences.
● converters of serial lines to allow data transmissions to different communication interfaces like RS-232, USB and Ethernet TCP/IP).
